Thanks to all for another very successful Annual Summer Show, held at the Margaret Harker Hall on Saturday, 15th July. Members once again exceeded expectations with the flowers, fruits, vegetables and home produce exhibited. Visitors in the afternoon were able to see which exhibits had been awarded prizes by the independent judges, as well as enjoying refreshments and having a little flutter on the raffle and tombola stalls. Cakes, plants and books were also sold, and the finale was the fast-moving auction of locally grown produce – bargains for all!
Many thanks to the committee for organising the event, to members for exhibiting their produce, and to all who supported us in the afternoon. A proper community Village Show – long may it continue!
