The Club’s AGM was held on Wednesday evening, 11th March, 2026, at the Margaret Harker Hall. There were 34 attendees including committee members, and the President, Mrs Sylvia Nelthorpe, thanked all for attending. The programme of meetings was outlined, which all agreed sounded very varied and interesting, and changes to the Summer Show schedule discussed. Sadly the long-standing Chair, Mrs June Drake, and Treasurer, Mr Alan Drake, confirmed that they would be retiring from these roles and they were thanked for their exemplary service to the Club, and presented with some gifts in thanks. Three new members have joined the committee, which is greatly appreciated. Everyone was then invited to stay for a light buffet and general knowledge quiz – all in all a very sociable and enjoyable evening.
