Mrs Sylvia Nelthorpe leads on a bulk purchase scheme from a national seed company, whereby members are offered the opportunity to buy seeds, plants and gardening paraphernalia from its catalogue, at significantly discounted rates. Mrs Nelthorpe offers the catalogues and takes all orders directly from members, then submits a bulk order to the company , usually in the autumn. The seeds etc are then delivered to Mrs Nelthorpe and she arranges for members to receive these and takes payment at that time. Currently seed orders receive a 50% discount, with plants and other products achieving a 15% discount.

Members are encouraged to discuss the Seed Order Scheme with Mrs Nelthorpe at club meetings and also let her know their success (or otherwise) with the products.
